A wide variety of dishes using high quality fish, Irish meats – steak, pork, lamb, poultry - as well as vegetarian dishes are cooked from freshly prepared ingredients using mainly local produce. The restaurant uses home grown Donegal fruits from the hotel gardens - rhubarb, gooseberries, blackcurrants, and apples are all used in home baked desserts and preserves.
Home baking using traditional family recipes features extensively in the dining, in particular the now famous Arnold’s Hotel Dunfanaghy Pavlova. Home baked wheaten bread, shortbread, fruit cakes and scones served with fresh cream and homemade jams are a real treat which all our customers enjoy.
